Village Groups

God never intended us to live our lives or our Christian faith alone. He’s given us the gift of other people with whom we can laugh, grow, and learn how to follow Jesus more faithfully. Village Groups provide a unique opportunity and environment for these things to happen!

What Is a Village Group?

A Village Group is made up of 6 to 10 people who get together on a regular basis to:
a) “reach up” – grow in their relationship with God;
b) “reach over” – develop and deepen friendships; and
c) “reach out” – look for ways to serve others and share Christ’s love with the community.

What Happens When a Village Group Meets?

In a Community Group, we meet weekly to get to know each other better and grow together.  There’ll be times when we’ll study God’s Word and discuss the issues and challenges of life.  There’ll be times when we’ll pray for and care for one another, our community, country and world.  And we’ll look for ways in which we can reach out to love and serve our community.

Why Village Groups?

We believe Village Groups can enable us to accomplish our mission – “Living Jesus, living hope…in our homes, church, community and world” – more effectively.
